Standing 20 inches tall, this barefoot Chase boy has big brown eyes, blond hair and rosy cheeks, and is made in the earliest body style: jointed at the hips and knees and at the elbows and shoulders. He is dressed as found in baby clothes that are “right” for the era, although probably not original. As the photos show, there is paint loss to the back of his head and a small “rub” on his nose. But his overall condition is very good to excellent for his age, with no broken or replacement limbs and little paint loss. All in all, a lovely addition to a family of early “cottage industry” dolls. C.1900-1910.
